New Delhi: The friendship between Bollywood director-producer Karan Johar and actress Shahrukh Khan is very famous in B-town today. Both have often been seen showering love on each other at many places. But something happened during the shooting of the film ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ that Shah Rukh reprimanded Karan Johar. However, this class of Karan was started because of Saif and Preity Zinta.

Karan Johar’s films make a big dent at the ticket window. The reason behind this is the perfection of the filmmaker. The story, characters and scenes in his films are absolutely perfect. For this, he also works very hard. At a very young age, he proved that he has no dearth of talent by making films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. His friendship with Shahrukh is also well known. He told me that what is this joke, you have spoiled everyone that someone is not doing his work properly. For doing such work, he will get the Filmfare Award, not me. Hearing this, I started crying loudly. Although this happened later, later Shahrukh did not get the award and both of them got the award.

The multistarrer film did a tremendous collection
Released in the year 2003, this film made a new record at the box office. The film earned around 38.55 crores at the Indian box office and around 53.54 crores worldwide. Athlone woman shortlisted for top EY business award

Athlone woman Ger Killian, Managing Director of The Lunch Bag, pictured with CEO, Ray Nangle.

An Athlone woman is in the running for a top gong at the 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year awards.

Ger Killian, who is Managing Director of The Lunch Bag, which supplies nutritious lunches to hundreds of schools around the country, has been shortlisted with her CEO, Ray Nangle, in the ’emerging’ category of the world renowned business awards scheme.

“We are so honoured and humbled to have been shortlisted” said Ray Nangle, who began the business in 2019.

“Not only is the Ernst & Young award as prestigious as you can get, to even be shortlisted exposes us to alumni across the country and indeed the world, which is an opportunity the majority of business owners can only ever dream of,” he commented this week.

The school lunch company opened its production doors in Nenagh, Co Tipperary in September 2020, with a support office in Athlone, and now employs over 250 staff.

The duo oversee production of almost 40,000 school lunches every day for 600 schools nationwide.

The service was also boosted immeasurably last week with the Government’s announcement that they intend to provide a free school meal to every primary school child in Ireland by 2030.

Ger Killian believes the news, which brings Ireland in line with other EU countries in terms of free school meals, will create a wave of new jobs and opportunities for the company, who have already begun a major expansion of their Tipperary premises.

“We have always passionately believed that every school child in Ireland should have access to a free hot meal during the school day, regardless of their economic status” stated Managing Director Ger Killian.

“We have worked tirelessly to get The Lunch Bag positioned to be the largest and most successful school meal company in the country and the recognition of EoY for this achievement is a recognition of our drive and passion for what we do. We can’t wait to showcase that to the world.”

The pair will join eight other finalists in an intense judging programme which kicks off in Singapore in May.

The other finalists in the emerging category are: Denis Collins of ActionZero; Chris Kelly of EasyGo; Rosie Connolly and Paul Quinn of 4TH ARQ; Deirdre O’Neill and Helen O’Neill of Hertility; Sam Moffett of Moffett Automated Storage; Lauren Duggan, Fiona Parfrey and Aine Kilkenny of Riley and Declan Wynne of Skanstec.

The Lunch Bag, which supplies lunches to 5,500 Westmeath students in 33 schools, will be advertising new positions in the coming months and are advising interested parties to keep an eye on local media.

Latest UN Climate Change Report Warns of Assured Environmental Devastation from Fossil Fuels

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a United Nations (U.N.) body that assesses climate change science, published last month a comprehensive report on our current knowledge of the climate. Across its 8,000 pages, the AR6 synthesis report presents recently collected data on the consequences of rising greenhouse gas emissions, but sends the same fundamental message as the last five assessment reports: policy changes that limit the disastrous effects of climate change must be implemented immediately.

The new report, a collaboration between U.N. climate scientists from 195 countries, represents a unified response by diverse perspectives from the scientific community on the human exacerbation of climate change, according to Peter Armbruster, a professor in Georgetown’s department of biology.

“We have a better handle on the historical climate record and that allows us to conclude with more confidence that the current changes to the climate that we’re seeing are specifically due to anthropogenic causes,” Armbruster told The Hoya.

IPCC | The United Nations recently released the AR6 Synthesis Report, detailing scientists’ concerns over the rise in global temperatures.

One of the main takeaways from the report is that humans have already caused a 1.1 degree Celsius increase in global temperature. While this increase may seem insignificant, this slight change can have devastating impacts on biological communities and processes.

In a press conference, U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres warned that devastating, irreversible damage will occur worldwide if stronger action is not taken on climate change immediately.

“We are on a fast track to climate disaster: major cities underwater, unprecedented heatwaves, terrifying storms, widespread water shortages, and the extinction of millions of plants and animals,” Guterres said.

The global temperature is rapidly approaching the target limit set by 195 countries in the Paris Agreement, a monumental 2015 U.N. international treaty on climate change that aimed to keep temperatures within 1.5 degrees of pre-industrial levels.

“At this point, we should recognize that staying below 1.5 degrees is not feasible,” Claudia Tebaldi, an AR6 co-writer, told The Hoya.

“The only way to stay below 1.5 degrees is to immediately reduce very strongly our emissions, and we know that is not going to happen.”

The report explains that rising global temperatures have already caused more disastrous effects than expected, including ocean acidification, rising sea levels and the spread of disease, with less-developed countries bearing the brunt of these impacts.

“The really tragic thing about this is that the countries that are doing the most emissions are the ones that are being affected the least in the immediate short term,” Armbruster said. “There’s a real social injustice there.”

While the scientific knowledge surrounding the dangers of climate change and predictions about its devastating effects have been well documented since the first AR6 report was released in 1990, policymakers are still neglecting to respond to the same call to action, according to Armbruster.

“We really do need an increased sense of urgency. We’ve been saying this for a long time, and nothing’s really changed.”

One potential reason for the lack of action is the false sense of security that prevents citizens from fully grasping the gravity of looming climate change disasters, according to environmental biology major Sean Cole (CAS ’25).

“Part of the problem is that sometimes the people making the policy decisions aren’t seeing the effects of climate change directly, they’re just hearing about them,” Cole told The Hoya. “It’s one thing to hear facts about the destruction climate change has caused, and it’s another thing to live it.”

Armbruster said that with the knowledge from the most recent AR6 report, policymakers and citizens have the capacity to change the trajectory of warming by reducing their respective states’ contributions to greenhouse gas emissions.

“We have it within our power to get a handle on this problem and prevent it from becoming catastrophic, but to do that we need to act yesterday,” Armbruster said. “The longer we wait, the harder it’s going to be to solve.”

He added that policymakers must also pass laws that disincentivize use of fossil fuels and incentivize clean energy sources.

“You can’t expect people to do it because it’s the right thing to do,” Armbruster said. “We need to develop incentive structures to make it in people’s best interest to engage in practices that will lead to reduced emissions.”

The report recommends that governments invest in adaptation strategies and support for affected and vulnerable communities. However, the solution to climate change is not just dependent on policy changes from the top down, Tebaldi said.

“We as consumers but also voters can make decisions that will have an impact,” Tebaldi said. “It’s not true that we should feel powerless. Each one of us as an individual is powerless, but if you start summing up the actions of many individuals, things will change.”

Alex Propson wants ‘hot boy European summer’

Alex’s presence on board the luxurious yacht is making waves and it’s not just because of his impressive sailing skills. From the moment he stepped on deck, he’s been turning heads with his charming personality and good looks. In fact, some of the ladies on the show have been swooning over him since day one. In the trailer, Alex is seen living his best life, enjoying the company of beautiful women and sipping on champagne. In one memorable scene, he’s caught kissing a woman in the classic ‘Lady and The Tramp’ style as they share a strand of spaghetti. The moment is sweet and romantic but also a bit cheesy — a perfect reflection of Alex’s playful and carefree personality. However, Alex’s antics on the yacht aren’t always so cute and charming.

In another scene from the trailer, he’s seen stumbling down the stairs on deck, clutching several champagne bottles in his hands. It’s clear that he’s had a bit too much to drink, and his drunken behavior raises concerns among the crew.  Alex has his eye on only one goal — a “hot boy European summer”. Tom Sandoval reacts strangely after learning Raquel Leviss kissed Tom Schwartz on Vanderpump Rules

Tom Sandoval reacted strangely after learning that Raquel Leviss kissed Tom Schwartz on Wednesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules on Bravo.

‘Raquel, Raquel,’ Sandoval, 39, chanted as he leaned over Raquel, 28, during an after-party at a resort in Mexico where Scheana Shay and Brock Davies were getting married.

‘Tom, stop!,’ said his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix, 37. ‘You’re acting weird.’

‘I’m not acting anything,’ protested Tom, who recently revealed that he kissed Raquel before the August wedding as they embarked on an affair together.

‘Why are you saying, ”Raquel, Raquel, Raquel”?,’ Ariana asked.

‘Because she f***ing made out with Schwartz,’ Sandoval said while hovering over Raquel.

‘You what?’ Ariana said.

Sandoval and Raquel laughed together. Ariana was shocked and asked where Schwartz, 40, was.

‘Schwartz is passed out,’ Sandoval said.

Sandoval then jokingly gave Schwartz’s room key to Raquel.

‘Tom, that’s the worst joke ever,’ Ariana said.

‘Can we have fun now?,’ Raquel asked.

‘Yes!,’ Tom replied as he appeared to spank Raquel’s bottom.

Ariana took off her top and jumped in the pool. Raquel got in the pool wearing her dress.

Lala Kent meanwhile checked on Katie Maloney, 36, who said she texted Schwartz that she hated him and was never going to talk to him again after learning that he kissed Raquel.

‘We just spent 12 years and we are trying to unpack this s***,’ Katie said. ‘If you need to go on some dates, hook up, have some sex, do it in a way that’s not in front. Like this is just mean. I hope it was worth it.’

The season 10 episode opened with Raquel and Schwartz continuing their kissing session.

‘It was pretty nice,’ Raquel said of their first kiss.

‘It was not bad,’ Schwartz said.

‘I feel like we should go somewhere private,’ Raquel said.

Raquel and Schwartz moved to a more secluded spot and kept kissing.

‘His lips are like sweet, delicate kisses,’ Raquel said in a confessional. ‘I feel giddy. I feel happy. I feel excited. I feel like maybe this could be something.’

‘We just made out, it feels illegal,’ Schwartz said.

‘You’re a little kissing bandit,’ Raquel said.

‘The forbidden fruit,’ Schwartz said.

‘She already hates me so might as well,’ Raquel said referencing Katie.

‘Don’t tell her,’ Schwartz said.

Raquel said that everyone already knew because they saw them.

Scheana, 37, and Brock called Lala Kent, 32, and told her what just happened between Raquel and Schwartz. Lala had the conversation on speakerphone and Katie and Raquel’s ex-fiance James Kennedy both heard it.

‘Katie did nothing to that girl for her to do something like that,’ Lala said. ‘She’s a disgusting swamp creature.’

Katie told everyone she was going to bed.

‘I feel so much hate inside of me,’ Katie said in a confessional. ‘I hate them both but I hate Tom more.’

James said he wasn’t surprised.

‘I’m telling you right now your ex-fiancee is a f***ing whore,’ Lala said.

The next morning, Ariana woke up and cuddled next to Sandoval. Scheana, Raquel and Ariana went downstairs to have a spa experience. Scheana said she was upset that Lala wasn’t attending all her events.

After her makeout session, Raquel suggested to Scheana that as her bridesmaid she should walk down the aisle with Schwartz.

‘I’m okay with that,’ Scheana said.

‘I’m starting to think that Raquel might actually have feelings for Schwartz, because it feels like she is living in some sort of rom-com and I think she is the only one in it,’ Ariana said in a confessional.

Schwartz met with James Kennedy, 31, and his girlfriend Ally Lewber, 27, at the pool. Schwartz said he kissed Raquel because Katie forbade him and now she was ‘livid’ with him. James told Schwartz to take his hand off his leg.

‘I asked you to take your hand off my leg, you’re the one who shoved your tongue down my ex-fiance’s throat at the white party,’ James said.

‘It was a platonic kiss,’ Schwartz said.

Schwartz then snuck into Sandoval’s room with pina coladas to get him out of bed. Schwartz joked that he had a really weird dream that he made out with Raquel.

‘That didn’t happen, did it?’ Sandoval said.

‘I don’t think so,’ Schwartz said.

Lala went to see Scheana who asked if she was coming to dinner. Lala said she couldn’t.

‘My life is intense right now,’ Lala said. ‘I want to surround myself with women wanting to rally around and support each other and build each other up. Raquel reminds me of the girls who would go and be with Randall, the dirtiness of it.’

‘There is a certain caliber of chick where they don’t think about anybody but their insecure selves,’ Lala said in a confessional. ‘Raquel has made Katie feel the way some of these b****es have made me feel. I’m triggered because you f***ed with someone I love.’

At the rehearsal dinner, Raquel sat between Schwartz and Sandoval at the hibachi-style event. Schwartz said he was going to have to talk to Katie. Raquel laughed.

‘So you made out with Peter, Schwartz, Tom, and who else could you make out with that is in our friend group?’ James said.

‘Just trying to live a little,’ Raquel said.

Later, Raquel said it was ‘ a little heartbreaking’ when Schwartz brushed aside their hook up.

James and Ally later met up with Katie.

‘I want to light them both on f***ing fire,’ Katie said. ‘What he did crossed every f***ing line. There’e no coming back from this. I’ve sat them both down, tears in my eyes, please guys. One f***ing request. You f***ing drunk imbeciles.’

Scheana then revealed to Raquel and Ariana that she was already wearing her wedding band because Brock and her were already married.

‘When his investor’s visa needed to get changed, I also wanted him to be able to get his green card,’ Scheana said. ‘We have a baby together. We know we’re going to be together forever, so we just literally said a couple words and signed the paper. You guys, it’s our one-year anniversary this week.’

The next morning was Scheana and Brock’s wedding. Scheana walked down the aisle over a pool wearing a lace strapless dress and a long veil. They wrote their own vows.

‘Who would have thought, the man that slid into my DM’s three years ago would turn out to be the most incredible partner and father I could ever ask for,’ Scheana said in her vows.

Katie and Kristina Kelly, 35, watched from their room.

‘I love a wedding, just not that one,’ Katie said.

Scheana and Brock shared a first dance with their daughter.

Schwartz crashed Katie’s dinner with Kristina and said he didn’t want there to be any weird tension between them.

‘We’ve been divorced for almost seven months. What does it matter if I make out with,’ Schwartz said.

‘You did it in the most humiliating public way towards me,’ Katie said. ‘I’m done with you disrespecting me.’

‘I never had hatred for you and now I do,’ Katie said.

‘That sucks for you,’ Schwartz said.

‘Get the f*** out of my face,’ Katie said. ‘I think you’re pathetic. I think you’re a drunk and I think you’re a loser.’

‘This does not affect me anymore because I don’t give a f*** anymore,’ Schwartz said. ‘I love you but it does not hurt me. I am disconnected from you.’

Raquel pulled Lala aside and said she felt like she had been attacked during their Las Vegas trip

‘I don’t care about this,’ Lala said. ‘What I do care about is how you’ve affected my friend. I think it’s gross. I think it’s dirty. I think it’s disgusting.’

Raquel noted that she could have done much worse.

‘I think your self worth comes from approval of a man, which is very sad to me. I think you have a mental breakdown coming. I think you’re gonna need some love and some support,’ Lala told Raquel before they ended their conversation and went their separate ways.

Eagles dominate injury-hampered 49ers to advance to Super Bowl

In an NFL season littered with crazy comebacks, the NFC championship game was almost over Sunday before it started.

San Francisco’s Brock Purdy, who went from the last pick in the draft to a surprise sensation, discovered how it really felt to be “Mr. Irrelevant.”

Swarmed by a ravenous Philadelphia defense, Purdy was hit on the 49ers’ opening possession and suffered an elbow injury that effectively knocked him out of the game, far too much to overcome against the top-seeded team in the conference.

Purdy would return — mostly to hand off — and the Eagles rolled to a 31-7 victory, securing their second trip to the Super Bowl in six seasons. They will face the Kansas City Chiefs — who beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC championship game — and Andy Reid, the former Philadelphia coach.

“I’m still processing it,” said safety Haason Reddick, who had a monster game, standing in the middle of an Eagles locker room filled with celebratory cigar smoke. “I probably won’t even come to terms with my feelings for the next two days or so.”

San Francisco came to Lincoln Financial Field with the league’s No. 1 defense, but it was Reddick who was the most impactful defensive player. He was the one who raked the ball out of Purdy’s hand on the strip sack that sent him to the sideline, and near the end of the second quarter, Reddick recovered a 49ers fumble that set up a Philadelphia touchdown.

“My arm just felt like it stretched out,” Purdy said of the play in question. “Just felt like really a lot of shocks all over from my elbow down to my wrist, front and back. Just pain, really, all over.”

Meanwhile, Philadelphia’s offensive line, the best in football, pushed open holes so wide that Miles Sanders was untouched on touchdown runs of six and 13 yards, and Boston Scott encountered contact only at the goal line on his 10-yard scoring run.

“In practice, you see what we do, we hit bags all the time,” said All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson, playing through a severe groin injury. “We put emphasis in the run game, get it to the second level and linebackers. Just I feel like the consistency of the backs has been there all year. Everybody’s getting touches, everybody’s getting yards.”

The Eagles were relentless, and the 49ers simply couldn’t keep up, not with the chaos at quarterback. Purdy was replaced by journeyman Josh Johnson, who has had 20 different NFL stops in a career that included stints in an alphabet soup of lesser leagues: the AFL, UFL and XFL.

Making matters even more bleak, Johnson had to leave the game with a concussion near the start of the third quarter. The 49ers had to send a seriously limited Purdy back out there, once running a direct snap to Christian McCaffrey. It was a disaster.

“It’s not ideal, it sucks,” McCaffrey said. “You never want to see any of your teammates get hurt, let alone the quarterback position. It’s tough. You’re never out of the fight though. We believed it, and it just didn’t turn out our way. We got beat. Wish we had another shot at it with everybody. But that’s life, the way it goes.”

There was a flicker of hope for San Francisco in the second quarter when McCaffrey tore off a spectacular 23-yard touchdown run, breaking four tackles along the way, to forge a 7-7 tie.

“Guys were up for the challenge,” San Francisco coach Kyle Shanahan said. “Defense was playing real well. We felt Josh was going to go in there and execute our plan and give us a chance. … Once they got that third score, it was real tough to catch up.”

The emergency plan called for McCaffrey to play quarterback, but that would have been utter desperation.

“Wildcat’s good here and there, but it’s not really an NFL offense,” 49ers tight end George Kittle said. “I’m pretty sure that if we just put Christian in at quarterback and Deebo [Samuel] at running back, I think they would know what we were doing. They’d probably just put 10 in the box and you can only do so much.”

As well as 49ers defenders played at times, they also melted down. The defense was flagged three times on a 75-yard drive by the Eagles that resulted in a touchdown. And in the fourth quarter, linebacker Dre Greenlaw lost his cool on Philadelphia’s Kenneth Gainwell, repeatedly punching at the football the way Rocky Balboa worked over a side of beef.

Shortly thereafter came a near brawl, when both teams had to be sent to their sidelines and there were dual ejections of San Francisco tackle Trent Williams — who delivered a WWE-style body slam after the whistle — and Philadelphia safety K’Von Wallace.

After being flagged just three times in the divisional game against Dallas, the 49ers were penalized 11 times against the Eagles, to the delight of a crowd that was one giant swath of green. In the waning moments, those delirious fans shout-sang Tom Petty’s “Won’t Back Down,” sending the visitors off into the chilly night.

“It’s a dream come true for a lot of people on this team, especially myself,” Sanders said of moving on to the Feb. 12 Super Bowl in Glendale, Ariz. “But I mean, the job’s not done. We didn’t get this far just to get there, we’re trying to win it all. We’ve got one more game for the rest of our lives, and to play our best ball.”

Beau Braden’s 2-round NFL Mock Draft – The Daily Evergreen

The NFL Draft is around the corner and that means all of your favorite outlets are creating mock drafts. Evergreen columnist Beau Braden makes his predictions for where the top-ranked football prospects could be headed in the NFL.

1. Carolina Panthers (via CHI) – QB Bryce Young, Alabama

The best quarterback available goes No. 1 overall. You don’t give up that haul to play it safe.

2. Houston Texans – QB C.J. Stroud, Ohio State

Houston plays it safe.

3. Atlanta Falcons (via ARIZ) – QB Anthony Richardson, Florida

At this point, we’re all aware of Anthony Richardson’s combine vs. tape, but Arthur Smith’s offensive infrastructure allows Richardson to play Justin Fields ball with better weapons. Atlanta trades the No. 8, No. 44 and 2024 1st to move up for AR15 (and receive pick 105 from Arizona).

4. Indianapolis Colts – EDGE Will Anderson Jr., Alabama

With Young, Stroud and Richardson off the board, Shane Steichen and Chris Ballard opt for Alabama Edge Will Anderson. Anderson has the tape, measurables, and high praise of Nick Saban to be the No. 1 pick.

5. Seattle Seahawks (via DEN) – DL Jalen Carter, Georgia

Carter’s legal situation swings the draft landscape. Legals aside, he’s among the best D-tackle prospects I’ve watched. His hands are heavy, and his feet are light. I don’t expect the Seahawks to pass up on blue-chip talent at No. 5.

6. Detroit Lions (via LAR) – EDGE Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech

Looking to the future, Detroit won’t have another opportunity to draft this high in the coming years. Tyree has elite movement skills for a 6-foot-6, 275-pound edge who can play all over the line of scrimmage. While his hand placement and pass rush plan need work, the Lions won’t pass on a physical, fluid mover with the same wingspan as Bo Cruz.

7. Las Vegas Raiders – CB Christian Gonzalez, Oregon

The Raiders had one of the worst PFF coverage grades in the NFL last season. Christian Gonzalez has it all as a lengthy, fluid corner who runs sub 4.40. This move also allows Nate Hobbs back to the slot, where he performed much better compared to outside corner.

8. Arizona Cardinals (via ATL) – CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois

Arizona moves back, knowing they need both quantity and quality, taking absolute ass-kicker Devon Witherspoon. The Cards need new juice in the building; Devon Witherspoon is a tone-setter in all facets of his game.

9. Chicago Bears (via CAR) – T Peter Skoronski, Northwestern

The Bears move back to No. 9, receiving a plethora of picks and the playbook-opening D.J. Moore. The next step is protecting Justin Fields so Ryan Poles can properly evaluate the young QB. Skoronski is one of the more skilled pass protectors in this class, and if he doesn’t work at tackle, he’ll be a solid guard for the next five years.

10. Philadelphia Eagles (via NO) – WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State

The NFL rejoices as Jalen Carter isn’t an Eagle. While he isn’t the fastest, Smith-Njigba is the best separator in the draft and provides Philly with a plug-and-play slot.

11. Tennessee Titans – T Paris Johnson Jr., Ohio State

While Andre Dillard kicked my ass plenty, I’m not DeForest Buckner. The former Coug and No. 22 pick in 2019 is still unproven in the league. Paris Johnson Jr. is the most athletic tackle in the draft and has the frame to crack the top 15.

12. Houston Texans (via CLV) – T Anton Harrison, Oklahoma

With their new QB’s blindside protector off the board, the Texans take Anton Harrison. Similar to Paris Johnson Jr., Harrison is extremely athletic and has the ability to play both left and right tackle.

13. New York Jets – TE Dalton Kincaid, Utah

The possibility of Aaron Rodgers heading to the Jets becomes more real by the hour. New York takes the best route running tight end in the draft to complement the Jets’ free-agency receiver moves.

14. New England – EDGE Lukas Van Ness, Iowa

While his rush moves are limited, Van Ness has crazy power for a redshirt sophomore. Bill Belichick takes his edge project opposite Matt Judon.

15. Green Bay Packers – WR Quentin Johnston, TCU

Green Bay fans rejoice, you finally drafted a receiver in the first round … after moving on from Aaron Rodgers.

16. Washington Commanders – QB Will Levis, Kentucky

Will Levis’ 2021 tape shows why he is a first-round pick. His fall stops with Washington.

17. Pittsburgh Steelers – CB Joey Porter Jr., Penn State

Team needs and the best player available align for Pittsburgh with Joey Porter Jr., a physical corner who can step in and be an immediate No. 1 on the outside.

18. Detroit Lions – DL Calijah Kancey, Pitt

Detroit returns to the well at the defensive line taking Calijah Kancey from Pitt.

19. Tampa Bay Buccanneers – T Broderick Jones, Georgia

The Bucs have many needs coming into the draft, but if they want to compete in an open NFC in 2023, they must give Baker Mayfield time in the pocket. Jones has an excellent punch and started two seasons protecting Stetson Bennett’s blind side.

20. Seattle Seahawks – CB Deonte Banks, Maryland

Just like my ex, now dating an offensive lineman, Pete Carroll and John Schneider have a type. At 6 feet-2 inches and 205 pounds, Deonte Banks ran a 4.35 40, hit 42 inches in the vertical, and put up an 11 feet 4 inches broad jump. Seattle brings another big, athletic, physical corner to compliment Tariq Woolen and move Coby Bryant inside.

21. Los Angeles Chargers – HB Bijan Robinson, Texas

Bijan Robinson is a top-3 level talent in this draft at a non-premium position. The best RB prospect since Saquon, drafting Robinson opens the Chargers’ offensive while also keeping this weapon away from Buffalo, Cincinnati and Kansas City.

22. Baltimore Ravens – EDGE Nolan Smith, Georgia

While relatively undersized, Nolan Smith stood out on two National Championship teams, especially in the run game. Production matters and Smith’s Combine numbers wowed enough to overlook his frame.

23. Minnesota Vikings – WR Jordan Addison, USC

Following the departure of Adam Thielen, the Vikings add the Biletnikoff winner opposite Mr. Jettas.

24. Jacksonville Jaguars – S Brian Branch, Alabama

Nick Saban’s “star,” a role once filled by Minkah Fitzpatrick, the Jags stop Branch’s fall.

25. New York Giants – WR Zay Flowers, Boston College

Great job, Giants. You owe Daniel Jones $60 mil over the next two years; here’s a 5-foot-9 receiver.

26. Dallas Cowboys – EDGE Myles Murphy, Clemson

Myles Murphy looked like a top-10 pick in his freshman season. While his play fell in the previous two seasons, that could have coincided with Brent Venables’ departure. Dallas’ takes a bet on who we thought Murphy could be.

27. Buffalo Bills – CB Cam Smith, South Carolina

Cam Smith does not have an elite athletic profile, but he’s incredibly smart and fills one of the few holes in Buffalo’s roster.

28. Cincinnati Bengals – EDGE Will McDonald IV, Iowa State

Will McDonald IV earned a PFF 92.6 pass-rushing grade against true pass sets in 2022. The explosive edge was inconsistent in other alignments but was excellent as a stand-up speed rusher.

29. New Orleans Saints (via SF) – TE Michael Mayer, Notre Dame

While I don’t think Mayer’s playstyle will translate to the NFL as well as some projects, he’s a huge upgrade over Adam Trautman and Taysom Hill.

30.  Philadelphia Eagles – DT Mazi Smith, Michigan

Philadelphia takes a swing at 30 with No. 1 on Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List, Mazi Smith. While he did not have the production front offices look for in college, I believe, and I’m sure the Eagles believe in their defensive line coaching.

31. Kansas City Chiefs – EDGE BJ Ojulari, LSU

The younger brother of Giants edge Azeez Ojulari, BJ is another creative pass rusher who created 127 in just three seasons at LSU. BJ also earned the historic No. 18 jersey at LSU, another check on his resume.

32. Seattle Seahawks (via CHI) – EDGE Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Kansas State

Let us first take a moment to acknowledge that the Steelers got this pick for Chase Claypool. Now because I’m an absolute scouting weapon, and John Schneider should at least connect with me on LinkedIn, WE traded up past multiple d-line needy teams sending picks No. 37 and 123 to Pittsburgh for my favorite edge prospect not named Will. Anudike-Uzomah is NFL-ready regarding pass-rush tools, bend, and frame.

33. Houston Texans – DL Bryan Bresee, Clemson

34. Arizona Cardinals – G O’Cyrus Torrence, Florida

35. Indianapolis Colts – CB Emmanuel Forbes, Mississippi State

Indy loves microscopic corners. At 6 feet 6 inches and 160 pounds, Emmanuel Forbes is a giant in this CB room.

36. Los Angeles Rams – EDGE Adetomiwa Adebawore, Northwestern

37. Pittsburgh Steelers (via DEN) – T Dawand Jones, Ohio State

38. Las Vegas Raiders – G Steve Avila, TCU

39. Carolina Panthers – SLOT Josh Downs, North Carolina

40. New Orleans Saints – C Luke Wypler, Ohio State

41. Tennessee Titans – TE Luke Musgrave, Oregon State

42. Green Bay Packers (via CLE) – EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu, USC

43. New York Jets – T Darnell Wright, Tennessee

44. Arizona Cardinals – HB Jahmyr Gibbs, Houston

45. Green Bay Packers (via NYJ) – LB Jack Campbell, Iowa

You thought the Packers wouldn’t use a top-50 pick on a linebacker?

46. New England Patriots – T Matthew Bergeron, Syracuse

The Pats reach on a tackle out of need.

47. Washington Commanders – TE Sam LaPorta, Iowa

48. Detroit Lions – LB Daiyan Henley, Washington State

Homerism aside, Henley’s twitch is as fast as his processing. The former quarterback/wide receiver/safety can cover a lot of ground in the Lions’ defense; plus, he fills a Jamaal Williams-sized hole in the goofy department.

49. Pittsburgh Steelers – CB Tyrique Stevenson, Miami

50. Tampa Bay Buccanneers – EDGE Isaiah Foskey, Notre Dame

51. Miami Dolphins – C Joe Tippmann, Wisconsin

52. Seattle Seahawks – OL Cody Mauch, North Dakota State

Seattle knocked their 2022 tackle picks out of the park with Mike Leach protégés Charles Cross and Abe Lucas. Cody Mauch played tackle at NDSU but will surely be moved inside wherever he lands. The Hawks take the athletic lineman at 52.

53. Chicago Bears (via BLT)  – CB Julius Brents, Kansas State

Another corner I like for Seattle Chicago takes a long, athletic corner in Julius Brents.

54. Los Angeles Chargers – LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas

Drew Sanders was an edge rusher at Alabama before becoming a blitzing off-ball linebacker at Arkansas. I think he fits great learning from Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.

55. Detroit Lions (via MIN) – TE Darnell Washington, Georgia

Darnell Washington is one of the toughest players to project in this draft. I think Detroit comes away with a tight end. It’s just up to Dan Campbell to pick his guy.

56. Jacksonville Jaguars – C John Michael Schmitz, Minnesota

The Jags bolster their interior offensive line with Chazz Michael Michaels.

57. New York Giants – LB Trenton Simpson, Clemson

58. Dallas Cowboys – HB Devon Achane, Texas A&M

59. Buffalo Bills – WR Jalin Hyatt, Tennessee

60. Cincinnati Bengals – DL Keeanu Benton, Wisconsin

61. Chicago Bears (via SF) – HB Zach Charbonnet, UCLA

62. Philadelphia Eagles – S Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M

63. Kansas City Chiefs – WR Nathaniel Dell, Houston

Fans rally around Prince Kaybee after he admits to being ‘scared and confused’ over his recently gained music independence

Taking to Twitter, SAMAs award-winning music producer, Prince Kaybee shared his feeling about his recently gained musical independence.

Kaybee and Universal Music went their separate ways a few days ago after eight years.

In the video posted on his timeline the “Fetch Your Life” hitmaker shared that he learnt everything that he could during his time with Universal Music and they both parted ways amicably.

But his newfound musical freedom has left him scared and confused after being a “label baby” for so many years.

“As you all know I’ve just been released not so long ago from a contract that I’ve had for eight years. I’ve been a label baby for eight years, I’ve got no background of any independence so with that fact my propensity after being released from Universal is that I’m very scared, I’m very confused in what I need to do moving forward,” he shared.

“It’s something that I’m playing by ear, something that I’m looking at from all different angles, it has acquired me to apply myself in trying to understand what this right now for me in this time in my life and there is music, there is a lot of music, I’ve been posting snippets of the growth that I’ve experienced and there’s nothing really that is bad going on between me and Universal right now. It was just for them to let me go.

“There’s been a lot of options to look at, a lot of advisers outside Prince Kaybee, even ex-workers from Universal have reached out and they’ve showed me different ways move and I’m still exploring a lot of that.”

He went on to share that if a collaboration between himself and award-winning DJ, musician and music producer Heavy-K had to take place it would need to add value to their brands.

“I don’t want to do a collaboration just for the sake of doing it… It’s time for a new look at my life and future and how I want to be successful.

“So yeah, the music is coming I am just very very very confused in how to move forward, there’s just a lot of power at the moment where there isn’t any greater being to answer to, there’s no one to tell me what to do or when to do it.”

He ended his post by thanking his followers for their love and support.

Fans rallied around him to show their support.

“You got this! We are behind you♥️ it scares you because you know how great you are, being independent is truly the beginning of bigger things in your career,“ commented @Boity_Melon27.

@LazloGunner said: “I think you being independent is a blessing, change is always uncomfortable and maybe that’s why you feel this way, but big blessings are coming and also you’re PrinceKaybee dawg if anyone can do it, it’s you.”

@Nate_Bovz wrote: “Trust me when I say you got this you can make a great success of your Brand.. Ultimately you know what you want for PRINCE KAYBEE..

“Just make sure you have a solid team that understands what needs to be done….ALL THE BEST KABELO WE GOT YOU NTJAA!!!”
