Raquel Leviss‘ family has turned to the FBI for help following a wave of reported death threats sent to the Vanderpump Rules star — who has come under fire over the last couple of months for her affair with Tom Sandoval.
Leviss’ rep told TMZ that she and her family have been receiving “violent and graphic death threats both online and over the phone that has gotten so bad they’ve had to contact the FBI.”
The alleged threats sent via social media reportedly say things like, “Tear you limb from limb” and “Un-alive and dump the body.”
A source close to the reality star added, “It’s understandable why people hate her for the Scandoval, but to elevate that hate to the point of threatening Raquel and her family takes things too far and is disturbing.”
Meanwhile, an FBI spokesperson told the outlet, “FBI neither confirms nor denies investigations. Obviously, we review all allegations reported to us and encourage anyone who believes their life is in imminent danger to call 911.”
The world was turned upside down back in March when Ariana Madix found out that Leviss — her close friend — was having an affair with Sandoval — her boyfriend of nine years.
Aside from becoming an immediate social media target for her fellow castmates, fans of the show continued to blast Leviss throughout the rest of the season — which saw her grilling Madix on her sex life with Sandoval all while she was secretly sleeping with him and acting unusually giddy over the entire ordeal.
In April, Leviss checked herself into a mental health facility, where she has been ever since. While she had planned to seek treatment before filming the Season 10 reunion, she held off until after because she “wanted to apologize to Ariana in person.”
But if the trailer is any indication of what’s to come in the next two weeks, the vitriol from her co-stars is only just beginning as Madix is seen referring to her former friend as “diabolical, demented [and] subhuman.”
Vanderpump Rules airs on Wednesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
