Ask any journalist, activist or otherwise, and they’ll likely agree: there’s nothing quite like that jolt of investigative adrenalin that kicks in when, in the course of writing one story, you find an even juicier one buried in the fine print.
That, it seems, is what’s been happening over at PressProgress, beginning with a Jan. 29 dispatch from Luke LeBrun, who revealed that, during the first few days of what would ultimately turn into the weeks-long blockade of the capital by the self-billed “Freedom Convoy,” Ottawa Police “investigated allegations … about the possible presence of explosive materials” at a local hotel.
